Overall the class offers a detailed understanding of the economics of developing nations and explains to students the causes and effects that lead to the conditions. The course also teaches students to calculate measurements such as HDI, GI Coefficient, and TPG to better the material. Lectures are clear and well organized, student are provided worksheets with headings and sub headings of the material that will be discussed in class. I believe that this is an effective method of engaging the student in the lectures. So long as the student attends the class they should be able to understand and follow the material. Thank you.

Overall my experience with the professsor, was clearly Dr.Devika is quite the knowledge about he subject. Along with is a professor that can inspire students while remaining on course. Professors like her are quite rare, in the sense that see truly cares about the students and seeing that they learn the subject.

I really enjoyed how the professor used handouts every lecture. It helped keep focused and keep the information at the top of your head. She also engages you in class. Many other teachers easily lose my focus but this professor really kept me engaged and I felt as though I learned a lot.
