Lessons from a Hummingbird

Anna’s hummingbird. It’s such a joy to watch hummingbirds at play. They are extremely protective of their food sources and valiantly try to ward off competitors. It’s the only species of bird that can fly backward and forward. Mostly, I admire their strength. Given how little they are, it’s not easy to weather rain or shine. But they are resilient. They show up for life, for themselves – no matter what. I have learned a lot from them.
